We believe that your privacy is important. This Privacy Policy describes how FEops collects, uses, consults or otherwise processes personal data and describes the rights you have with respect to your personal data. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy any reference from "FEops", "we" or "us" refers to FEops:

FEops undertakes to comply with all obligations under applicable national and international legislation on the protection of personal data.

Which personal data do we process and why?

Personal data can be defined as any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (data subject). We will not process personal data without a proper legal basis. Therefore, we will only process your personal data if:

  • We have obtained your prior consent
  • The processing is necessary to take pre-contractual steps or is part of the performance of a contract with you
  • The processing is permitted by law or necessary for the compliance of legal or regulatory obligations
  • The processing is necessary to carry out tasks related to our business activities on grounds of legitimate interest and does not unduly affect your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms

We process personal data from our customers, prospective customers, representatives/employees/contact persons of our suppliers and service providers, job applicants and website visitors as ‘data controller’. Such personal data is collected directly from you, for example, if you choose to sign up for Product and Company Updates, register for one of our services, ask us a question through our Contact e-mail, or apply for employment with us; or can be provided by our business partners, such as recruiting companies or through the supplier or service provider for whom you work.  

Depending on your relationship with us, the following categories of personal data may be processed by FEops:

  • Personal identification and contact details
  • Data about the use of FEops services and platforms
  • Financial details
  • Professional history and academic curriculum, personal characteristics, family composition, lifestyle and social situation

This information may be used for customer management and support to ensure a better service, to manage our suppliers and service providers, for recruitment purposes, billing and invoicing activities, or any other purposes imposed by applicable law.

We also process pseudonymized personal data of patients from healthcare institutions we cooperate with, with whom we jointly protect the data and the rights and freedoms of the data subjects, a relationship that is always governed by a Data Processing Agreement. The following categories of data can be processed in such cases:

  • Health data
  • Personal characteristics

Such data is processed in the legitimate interest of scientific research, improvement of healthcare and treatment evaluation, as well as ensuring high standards of quality and safety of FEops’ services in healthcare.

Using and Sharing Information Collected

FEops may share your information with third parties that assist us in providing our products or services or improving our marketing or administration. This includes companies that provide analytics to us about use of our website, so that we can evaluate use of our websites and continue to improve our website content.

All third-party recipients are obligated to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal data. In certain limited circumstances, your personal data may be accessed by or transferred to law enforcement, regulatory bodies, or judicial authorities. This will occur only when legally required.

FEops does not share or sell any personal information that you provide to us. From time to time, we will provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, online traffic patterns and related information to reputable third parties who help us improve our business and services, but these statistics do not include any personal identifying information.

In the event that we sell, assign or transfer all or part of the FEops business, we may transfer your personal information to the buyer. However, the buyer, assignee, or transferee will be required to safeguard your personal information in a manner that is consistent with the requirements in this Privacy Policy.

Data Transfers Outside the EEA

For the purposes described in this Privacy Statement, your data will typically be stored within the European Economic Area ("EEA") and will only be passed outside the EEA to a country or to countries that the European Commission has recognized as having an appropriate level of provide data protection.

In the event that your data would nevertheless be transferred to or kept in a non-EEA country that is not recognized to provide an adequate level of protection, FEops will take appropriate security measures to ensure that the transfer complies with the requirements of the data protection law. This can be done either by imposing Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or through ensuring that a third party to which your personal data is transferred has adhered to Binding Corporate Rules.

Safeguarding Your Information

Consistent with applicable laws and requirements, FEops has put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, alteration, theft, unauthorized access, or unauthorized disclosure. We evaluate these safeguards on an ongoing basis to help minimize risks from new security threats as they become known. However, as is the case with all websites, we unfortunately are not able to guarantee 100% security for data collected through our public website.

Storing your information

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, to comply with legal or regulatory requirements or to protect against legal claims.

Your rights

Based on the processing and the legal basis, the rights described below are available for you to have control over your personal data.

Right of Access
FEops permits you to have access or to obtain a copy of personal information that we hold about you. You have the right to know why your data is being processed, who receives it, how long the data will be stored, whether it can be sent to a country outside the European Economic Area, how we acquired this data and whether this data is used to make automated decision-making.

Right of Rectification
FEops takes reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is accurate and up-to-date for the purposes for which it was collected. We encourage you to contact us to supplement, improve, update or correct your information if it changes or if you believe that any information that we have collected about you is inaccurate or incomplete.

Right to Erasure (“Right to Be Forgotten”)
You have the right to request FEops to delete your personal data. Please note that this right does not always apply and in some cases it is not possible to delete the data, but this will be clearly stated.

Right to Restrict the Processing
You have the right to limit the processing of personal data that applies to you. Limitation of the data processing means that this data may only be further processed with your express permission, with a view to legal action or to protect the rights of others. You may also request that your personal data is temporarily withheld until it is accurate or complete.

Right to Object
You have the right to object in certain circumstances to the processing of your personal data for the defence of a legitimate interest or for the fulfilment of a general interest task for reasons related to your specific situation. When the personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for such marketing at any time.

Right to Withdraw Consent
If we process your personal data with your permission, you can withdraw this consent at any time.

Please note that if you already have requested products or services when you decide to withdraw consent, there may be a short period of time for us to update your preferences and ensure that we honour your request.

Right to Data Portability
Under certain conditions, you have the right to obtain your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format to transfer it from one controller to another. Where technically feasible, FEops can transfer your personal data to another controller directly.

Right to Lodge a Complaint
You always have the right to file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority or to take legal action if you believe that your rights have been violated. We naturally encourage you to come to us in the first instance, but to the extent that this right applies to you, you are entitled to complain directly to the Supervisory Authority.
